Roy Hawkesford User Style and Arrangement (Fake) Disk #3 for Band-in-a-Box

Following the success of Roy's previous disks, he has now come up with another great disk - Standards 3

Following the success of Roy's previous disks, he has now come up with another great disk - Standards 3. The disk includes many songs from the 1950's and 1960's with appropriate styles for playing them. While the song arrangements can be played with any other suitable style, the styles on this disk can be used to play songs of your own or from other disks. Because of this, Roy has set out to create some styles that were significantly different from his previous ones, others are developments on earlier styles.

Here are the 12 great new styles contained on this disk:

~JZWALTZ.STY For medium tempo waltz and 6/8 songs, with brushes with a light "A" and pushy "B" substyle; with p, b, d, g and vibes throughout.
~WALTZUP.STY For medium to up tempo waltz and 6/8 songs, with brushes with a straight-ahead, walking bass and 3-to-the-bar ride cymbal on "B", with p, b, d, g, and vibes.
~MJQUART.STY For slow and medium tempo 4/4 songs, w/Brushes. Has a 'chamber jazz' feel on "a", with less conventional ride and snare patterns, and a more swinging "b" style; with p, b, d, and vibes.
~MCDUFF1.STY Funky Hammond combo for slow to medium songs, w/Brushes. Has Benson/Burrell comping on guitar and congas etc. on "B"; organ, b, d, and guitar.
~MCDUFF2.STY Similar to ~MCDUFF1.STY but with strings added on "b" for more MOR I Wes with organ and strings features; with organ, b, d, g and strings.
~LATINUP.STY Latin "a" swing "b" style for medium and up tempos, with Brushes, p, b, d, g, and vibes, with percussion ensemble.
~ROUTE66.STY A style for slow / medium Blues progressions using jazz changes and a typical sax riff on "b", with sticks — p, b, d, Hammond organ, with saxes on "b", for all Blues / R&B progressions.
~MOSEALL.STY Bluesy piano-based style for standards with pared down changes, based on Mose Allison,with Brushes. has a funky feel, with stops on "a" section and 'blue beat' rhythm an "b" with p, b, d, g, and Hammond.
~BOSTIC.STY '50s style R&B oriented style for blues and jazz standards, after Earl Bostic's combo and repertoire. Heavy Rock'n'Roll off-beat and fuller "b" section, with b, d, g, Hammond and vibes throughout.
~SUMMERY.STY Later Bossa Nova style, with a looser less authentic feel for more general application, with Brushes. Rhodes, b, d, g with vibes and added percussion on "b".
~SHOTIME.STY Light medium to up style for show songs and jazz standards, with Brushes — p, b, d, and light vibes on "a", with guitar on "b".
~UPFORIT.STY Medium and Up style, two-to-the-bar feel an "a", swinging "b" section with sax riff for all standards, with Brushes — p, b, d, g and vibes on "a", with saxes on "b".
