Important Notes - Read Me First: The mp3 demos were recorded using either the Virtual Sound Canvas or a Sound Blaster Live! card at 32kbps. It's a low fidelity recording. The instruments will sound tinny, but you will be able to hear all the parts. The mp3 HD Demos were recorded using the General MIDI bank of either the Ketron SD2, Edirol SD90 or Roland SC55 sound module. All EXPANDED styles (below) will allow you to put 8 chords in a 4/4 measure (or 6 chords in a 3/4 measure), and will also allow you to put a chord both on the beat and the upbeat before that same beat. You can do this by EXPANDING the Band-in-a-Box song (edit menu) and the Norton Music EXPANDED style will play correctly in that mode. Norton Music is the inventor of EXPANDED styles for Band-in-a-Box. All Mix&Match Mega styles can be used either individually or combined to allow A, B, C and/or D section in a Band-in-a-Box song. Mix&Match Mega styles are another Norton Music innovation (years later PG Music created Multi-Styles). Styles from Disk 8 and up require Band-in-a-Box version 7.0g or higher, 19 and up require 2008 or higher, all the others require version 5 or higher. All the styles work on the newest versions of Band-in-a-Box. BUYING STYLES BY THE DISK IS MORE ECONOMICAL ($33.95 per disk or about $1.00 per style) than purchasing individual styles, but since many people have asked for single styles, I've decided to give you the choice (all sales are final).
