| I sang with Harry James, Jerry Gray, Sy Zentner, Les Brown, Stan Kenton and Charlie Barnet. I was lucky enough to work with some of the best West Coast musicians: Shelly Mann, Mel Lewis, Jimmy Rowles (my personal favorite), Claude Williamson, Lou Levy, Max Bennet, Joe Mondragon, Shorty Rogers, Bud Shank and Dick and Ted Nash, to name a few. Some great arrangers wrote charts for me: Nelson Riddle, Bill Holman, Billy May, Pete Rugalo, and Bob Florence.
